Eritek Announces Release of VisSim/Comm 6.0

Eritek is pleased to announce the release of version 6.0 of its award winning VisSim/Comm modeling and simulation environment.

In this latest release, VisSim/Comm continues to enhance its system level communications modeling capability. In addition to the many enhancements to the core VisSim simulation engine, this new release adds new blocks in the Channels, Estimators, Operators, RF, Signal Sinks and Signal Sources categories, and includes expanded capabilities for existing blocks.

VisSim/Comm's optional addon modules have also been updated. An Ultrawideband block set has now been added to the WLAN module, and VisSim/Comm now supports external real-time data acquisition at rates approaching 1 MHz via the Red River interface module.

The Red River interface allows VisSim/Comm to be used for Software Defined Radio (SDR), data acquisition, and signal processing applications.

Eritek Announces Support for Red River Digital Tuner Cards

The optional Red River module allows users of VisSim/Comm to stream real time complex baseband data into a diagram at sample rates approaching 1 MHz. Eritek and Red River at SDR Conference, Scottsdale, Arizona

Eritek joined the Red River exibit booth at the 2004 SDR Conference in Scottsdale, AZ. Our staff provided live demonstrations of the VisSim/Comm software processing streaming complex baseband data for software defined radio applications using Red River signal acquisition products.

VisSim at TI Developers Conference, Houston, Texas
February 18-20, 2004

Eritek and Visual Solutions were among the many exhibitors at the TI Developers Conference in Houston, TX. Our staff provided live demonstations of VisSim in action creating F2812/LF2407/MSP430 based controllers, and communication test signals. The exhibit also included a live demonstration of a PWM actuated fan controller using feedback from a vane angle encoder.

Eritek Releases Ultrawideband Module for Beta Testing
January, 2004

A set of Ultrawideband (UWB) blocks has been added to the Wireless LAN module to support the modeling and simulation of UWB diagrams. Features include the ability to generate a variety of UWB pulse shapes and support for Pulse Position Modulation (PPM) models.

VisSim/Comm C-Code Now Shipping
September, 2003

Eritek is now shipping VisSim/Comm C-Code. This optional module allows users to automatically generate ANSI C code from a VisSim/Comm diagram and compile to exe, Windows® DLL, or simObject.

Using the C-Code module, users can create custom VisSim DLL blocks from their VisSim diagrams. These custom DLL blocks can be used to safely distribute proprietary algorithms to third parties without discosing their internal implementation.

Eritek Releases Wireless LAN Module

Eritek announces the release of its VisSim/Comm Wireless LAN module. This latest addition to the product line extends the capabilities of the base package by adding simulation and modeling support for Bluetooth, 802.11a and 802.11b (Wi-Fi) diagrams.

Highlights include support for some of the latest modulation formats and spread spectrum techniques, inluding:
